Christian Zellweger
Since his appointment as Chief Executive Officer in January 2026, Christian Zellweger has been responsible for the strategic leadership and overall development of FISBA. Following his successful tenure as COO since July 2020, he now leads the company’s vision, focusing on sustainable growth, global innovation, and maintaining FISBA’s position as a world leader in the optics industry.
Christian Zellweger studied at the University of Applied Sciences Ravensburg-Weingarten and holds a Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Optics and an Executive MBA HSG in Business Engineering. With over 15 years of experience in various executive positions within the optics sector – both in Switzerland and abroad – he possesses a profound understanding of the entire value chain. His leadership is defined by a deep expertise in optical components, laser applications, and precision manufacturing, combined with a strong commitment to achieving long-term corporate objectives and fostering a culture of excellence.
