We are delighted to announce that Gray Optics, a privately held company specializing in product development and engineering services for medical, life science, and industrial markets, is now a part of the FISBA family. The acquisition of Gray Optics is aligned with FISBA’s strategy to provide unique photonic solutions directed at improving Health, Productivity, and Security. By purchasing Gray Optics, FISBA expands engineering and development skills in North America. This provides customers with highly skilled local development resources, reducing the distance, time, and cultural impacts of programs, while offering a complete vertically integrated solution.
Founded in 2017, Gray Optics has become a leader in product development for precision optical systems in a range of biomedical and industrial applications. Now, a part of FISBA North America, our Portland Maine based team has expanded its offerings to customers to include design through volume manufacturing of high-precision optical components, assemblies, and complete systems. This enhanced capability enables us to accomplish our mission of providing value to customers and improving and saving lives through the introduction of new optical technologies.
